Export of Italian regions

Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period January- December 2017.

In the fourth quarter of 2017, compared with the previous period, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports increased for South and Islands (+8.2%), North-East (+5.7%), North-West (+1.7%) and Centre (+0.4%).

In 2017, compared with the year earlier, exports increased for Islands (+29.4%), North-West (+7.6%), Centre (+7.0%), North-East (+6.6%) and South (+2.8%).

In the same period more relevant increases, according to their contribution to total export increment, are recorded for Lombardia (+7.5%), Emilia-Romagna (+6.7%), Piemonte (+7.7%), Lazio (+17.2%) and Veneto (+5.1%), while decreases were recorded for Basilicata (-13.3%), Marche (-2.0%) and Molise (-23.9%).
