Foreign trade with non-EU countries - February 2025

Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in February 2025 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in February 2025 will be disseminated on coming 18 April 2025.

In February 2025, exports to non-EU27 countries decreased by 2.1% and imports increased by 8.6% compared with the same month of the previous year.

In February 2025, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports rose by 2.8% and imports by 0.8% compared with January 2025. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed increases in outgoing and incoming flows of 3.9% and 6.7%, respectively.

In February 2025, the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 4,707 million euro compared with a surplus of 6,885 million euro in February 2024; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 9,508 million euro, down compared with a 10,664-million-euro surplus in February 2024.
