Export of italian Regions - Q2 2024

In the second quarter of 2024, exports increased in seasonally-adjusted terms, compared with the previous period, for the Centre (+1.1%), for the North-West (+0.2%) and for the North-East (+0.1%) while decreased for the South and Islands (-3.6%).

In the first six months of 2024, compared with the previous year, exports rose in the Islands (+7.3%) and in the South (+1.9%) while dropped in the North-West (-3.5%), in the Centre (-2.3%) and in the North-East   (-1.4%).

In the first six months of 2024, more relevant falls, according to their contribution to the total export decrease, were recorded in Marche (-41.3%), Piemonte (-4.6%), Veneto (-3.5%) and Liguria (-26.3%). More significant increases were recorded in Toscana (+8.7%), Lazio (+6.7%), Campania (+8.8%) and Sardegna (+18.8%).
