Building permits indicators

In residential buildings the number of dwellings increased in the third quarter 2021 when compared with the previous quarter (+2.9%); useful floor area increased (+3.6%) too.

Non-residential buildings increased by 15.5% in the third quarter 2021 (quarter on previous quarter).

The number of dwellings in new buildings increased by 17.7% in the third quarter 2021 with respect to the same quarter a year earlier.

In comparison with the same quarter a year ago, the useful floor area was up 17.5%.

Non-residential area increased year-on-year, growing by 22.4% in the third quarter 2021, reversing the previous trend.
