EDP Consolidated Inventory of sources and methods

The Inventory has been prepared according to EU Council Regulation No 479/2009 on the application of the Protocol on the excessive deficit procedure annexed to the Treaty establishing the European Community.

The regulation states that EU Member States transmit to Eurostat a detailed inventory of the sources, procedures and methods regarding the aggregates to be indicated in the Notification of data on government deficit and debt, sent to EU twice a year, and the aggregates of the underlying general government accounts.

As required by the Regulation, the inventory is regularly updated to describe any review of the methods, sources and procedures.
