It is easy to say “database”, but we know how complicated it may be, for those who do not usually do it, to move between numbers and tables in search of the information needed.
For this reason, Istat has designed StatBase, an easy-to-navigate system that draws on the Institute’s complete database and proposes the most frequently accessed data tables.
On StatBase you will find a list of 19 themes, each with different sub-themes. Just select the one you are interested in, and then refine your search clicking on the sub-theme in the right hand columns until you reach the table containing your information.
Now you can access the data set, and if you wish, even customize it by selecting the proposed variables: reference periods, geographical areas or other.
