Dynamic data visualization tools, collaborative software, the adoption of new approaches to information design open new perspectives on knowledge production and integration.
eXplorer, a dynamic web-enabled graphical tool for analyzing, sharing and publishing data, developed by the National Center for Visual Analytics of the University of Linköping, is among the most innovative tools.
The software’s applications and technical potentialities will be illustrated during a workshop which will be held on coming 26 April in the Great Hall of the National Institute for Statistics.
On the same occasion, Istat and the Department for development policies of the Ministry of economic development will illustrate their experiences in using dynamic graphic solutions to support data production and dissemination on the web.
