Thanks to the most updated statistical information, the meeting offers the occasion to examine the quality agri-food products sector, which is growing more and more in its socioeconomic importance both at national and community level. The discussion will involve a large number of representatives from both public and private sectors interested in this subject
During the meeting Istat will present the data on PDO, PGI and TSG products updated on December 31st 2009. Istat will also show an analysis referring to the years 2004-2009 on several aspects of the agri-food sector, such as: operators, enterprises, cultivated areas, livestock holdings, animals, processing products. Data will be disseminated by region, province and altimetrical zone.
