With the occasion of the release of the QNA estimates referred to the third quarter of 2011, Istat disseminates the QNA new time series revised according to the Ateco 2007 (Italian version of the Nace Rev.2) and coherent with the Annual National Accounts released in October 2011.
In the third quarter of 2011 the seasonally and calendar adjusted, chained volume measure of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) decreased by 0.2 % with respect to the second quarter and increased by 0,2 per cent in comparison with the third quarter of 2010.
Compared to the second quarter, final consumption expenditure declined by 0.3 per cent and gross fixed capital formation by 0.9 per cent. Imports decreased by 1.1 per cent while exports raised by 1,6 per cent.
With respect to the third quarter of 2010, final consumption expenditure increased by 0.1 per cent, gross fixed capital formation decreased by 2.0 per cent, imports declined by 0.9 per cent and exports raised by 5.7 per cent.
