Foreign trade with non-Eu countries - April 2024

Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in April 2024 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in April 2024 will be disseminated on coming 14 June 2024.

In April 2024, exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 12.9% and imports decreased by 3.6% compared with the same month of the previous year.

In April 2024, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports increased by 3.4% and imports decreased by 0.6% compared with March 2024. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 3.6% increase in outgoing flows and a 1.5% increase in incoming flows.

In April 2024, the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 4,907 million euro compared with a surplus of 1,239 million euro in April 2023; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 9,188 million euro, up compared with a 7,077-million-euro surplus in April 2023.
