Production in the construction sector - September 2023

In September 2023, estimates for construction output increased in the month-on-month series, rising by 0.2%.

In the 3rd quarter of 2023, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction grew by 0.8% when compared with the previous quarter.

Year on year, the calendar adjusted index (calendar working days being 21 versus 22 days in September 2022) stay unchanged, while the unadjusted index fell by 3.4%.

In the first nine months of 2023, the calendar adjusted index declined by 2.0%, while the unadjusted series decreased by 2.4%.
