Industrial turnover - March 2023

In March 2023 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover dropped in the month on month by 0.3% (-0.5% in the domestic market and +0.1% in the non-domestic one).

In the first quarter of 2023 total industrial turnover levels increased by 0.1% compared with the previous quarter (+1.0% in the domestic market and -1.5% in the non-domestic market).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index was up 4.3% comparing to March 2022 (+4.3% in the domestic market and +4.1% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in March 2023 were 23 as in March 2022.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index increased by 0.4% in March 2023; in the first quarter it dropped by 0.8% compared with the previous one. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index decreased by 0.4% with respect to the same month a year earlier.
