The project closure ceremony: “Building governance through official statistics: A successful project” is planned on the 19th of April 2023 to present the results of the project “Viet Nam – Improvement of the National Statistical System” financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented by the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) with an overall ODA budget of 650,000 euro.
The event will be held at the General Statistics Office (GSO) premises in Ha Noi and co-chaired by Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong, Director General of the GSO and H.E. Mr. Antonio Alessandro, Ambassador of Italy in Viet Nam. The project “Viet Nam – Improvement of the National Statistical System” has contributed to strengthening the Statistical System in Viet Nam in order to improve the statistical information necessary to drive the development process of the country.
