In the 2022, compared with the previous year, exports rose in all macro-regions: +58.0% for the Islands, +23.4% for the Centre, +19.6% for the North-West, +16.0% for the North-East and +15.4% for the South.

In the 2022, the more relevant increases, according to their contribution to the total export growth, were recorded in Lombardia (+19.1%), Veneto (+16.0%), Emilia-Romagna (+14.6%), Marche (+82.0%) and Piemonte (+18.5%). Decreases were recorded only in Molise (-12.1%).
