Industrial turnover - October 2022

In October 2022 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover decreased on a monthly basis by 0.8% (-1.1% in the domestic market and -0.3% in the non-domestic one).

In the three months to October 2022 total industrial turnover levels increased by 1.9% when compared with the previous three-month period (+1.8% in the domestic market and +2.4% in the non-domestic market).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 12.5% comparing to October 2021 (+11.0% in the domestic market and +15.7% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in October 2022 were 21 as in October 2021.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index fell by 1.6% in October 2022; in the three months to October 2022 it rose by 1.2% compared with the previous three-month period. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index increased by 0.3% when compared with the same month a year earlier.
