Production in the construction sector - September 2022

In September 2022, estimates for construction output slightly increased by 0.2% in the month-on-month series.

In the three months to September 2022, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction dropped by 2.2% when compared with the previous three-month period.

Year on year, the calendar adjusted index (calendar working days being 22 as in September 2021) rose by 7.7% and the unadjusted index was up 7.6%.

In the first nine months of 2022, construction output grew by 14.1% in the calendar adjusted series and increased by 13.5% in the unadjusted series.
