In the three months to July 2022, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction fell by 3.2% when compared with the previous three-month period.
Year on year, the calendar adjusted index rose by 5.9% (calendar working days being 21 versus 22 days in July 2021), while the unadjusted index grew by 2.3%.
In the first seven months of 2022, construction output was up 15.3% in the calendar adjusted series and increased by 14.7% in the unadjusted series.
