Export of italian regions - Q2 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, exports increased in seasonally-adjusted terms, compared with the previous period: +12.9% for the South and Islands, +7.8% for the Centre, +5.2% for the North-West and +2.7% for the North-East.

In the first six months of 2022, compared with the previous year, exports rose in all macro-regions: +71.8% for the Islands, +22.1% for the North-West, +21.1% for the Centre, +20.5% for the North-East and +16.2% for the South.

In the first six months of 2022, the more relevant increases, according to their contribution to the total export growth, were recorded in Lombardia (+22.1%), Emilia-Romagna (+19.7%), Veneto (+19.3%), Marche (+72.5%) and Piemonte (+18.0%). Decreases were recorded only in Molise (-14.8%) and Abruzzo (-0.8%).
