Industrial turnover - January 2022

In January 2022 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover increased on a monthly basis by 2.3% (+2.7% in the domestic market and +1.3% in the non-domestic one).

In the three months to January 2022 total industrial turnover levels increased by 3.7% when compared with the previous three-month period (+3.6% in the domestic market and +4.2% in the non-domestic market).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 9% comparing to January 2021 (+19.1% in the domestic market and +12.9% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in January 2022 were 20, one more than January 2021.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index increased by 0.5% when compared with the same month a year earlier and by 1.1% when compared with the previous three-month period. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index increased by 3.3% compared to January 2021.
