In December 2021 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover decreased by 2.1% on a monthly basis (-3.1% in the domestic market and -0.2% in the non-domestic one).
In the 4th quarter 2021 total industrial turnover levels increased by 3.9% when compared to the previous three-month period (+4.3% in the domestic market and +3.4% in the non-domestic market).
Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 3% comparing to December 2020 (+13.3% in the domestic market and +16.4% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in December 2021 were 22, one more than December 2020.
Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index fell by 2.8% on a monthly basis, while the calendar adjusted volume turnover index rose by 4.3% when compared to December 2020.
