Foreign trade and Industrial import prices - November 2021

In November 2021 seasonally-adjusted data, compared to October 2021, increased by +2.7% for outgoing flows and by +1.7% for incoming flows. Exports raised by +2.4% for EU countries and by +2.9% for non EU countries. Imports grew by +2.6% for EU countries and by +0.7% for non EU countries.

Over the last three months, seasonally-adjusted data, compared to the previous three months, increased by +1.9% for exports and by +4.5% for imports.

In November 2021, compared with the same month of the previous year, both exports and imports grew (+16.8% and +27.9% respectively). Outgoing flows increased by +19.9% for EU countries and by +13.4% for non EU countries. Incoming flows rose by +21.6% for EU area and by +37.8% for non EU area. The trade balance in November 2021 amounted to +4,163 million Euros (-60 million Euros for EU countries and +4,223 million Euros for non EU countries).

In November 2021, import prices increased by 0.9% on monthly basis (+0.8% for the euro zone, +0.9% for the non-euro zone). Over the last three months, compared to the previous three months, import prices increased by 4.5% (+2.1% for the euro zone, +6.8% for the non-euro zone).

Import prices, compared to the same month a year ago, increased by 15.9% in November 2021 (+9.2% for the euro zone and +22.5% for the non-euro zone).
