Industrial turnover - October 2021

In October 2021 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover increased by 2.8% on a monthly basis (+3.4% in the domestic market and +1.4% in the non-domestic one).

In the three months to October 2021 total industrial turnover levels increased by 2.8% when compared to the three-month period (+4.0% in the domestic market and +0.7% in the non-domestic market).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 16.9% compared to October 2020 (+19.4% in the domestic market and +12.1% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in October 2021 were 21, one less than October 2020.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index increased by 1.6% in September 2021 on a monthly basis, while the calendar adjusted volume turnover index increased by 6.0% when compared to September 2020.
