In September 2021 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover increased by 0.1% on a monthly basis (unchanged in the domestic market and +0.2% in the non-domestic one).
In the third quarter of 2021 total industrial turnover levels increased by 2.4% when compared to the previous quarter (+3.0% in the domestic market and +1.5% in the non-domestic market).
Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 2% compared to September 2020 (+17.0% in the domestic market and +11.6% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in September 2021 were 22 as in September 2020.
Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index increased by 0.5% in September 2021 and by 0.3% in the third quarter 2021 compared to the previous one. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index increased by 5.5% when compared to the same month a year earlier.
