Production in constructions

In October 2020, estimates for construction output continued to fall in the month-on-month series, decreasing by 1.8%.

In the three months to October 2020, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction rose by 13.6% when compared with the previous three months, still affected by the pandemic lockdown.

Year on year, the unadjusted index for construction output was down 1.7%, while the calendar adjusted index (22 calendar working days versus 23 in October 2019) was up 1.6%.

In the first ten months of 2020, construction output dropped by 10.5% both in the calendar adjusted series and in the unadjusted series.
