Construction output rose by 0.4% in the month-on-month series in October 2019.
Despite the volatility of the monthly series, a slight growth was further confirmed by the three-month on three-month series. In fact, construction output was up 0.3% in the three months to October 2019.
Over the longer term, both the year-on-year calendar adjusted index and the unadjusted index increased by 2.7% (23 calendar working days in October 2019 as in October 2018).
In the first ten months of 2019, construction output grew by 2.9% in the calendar adjusted and was up 3.0% in the unadjusted series.
