Construction output fell by 0.3% in the month-on-month series in September 2019.
In the third Quarter of 2019, estimates for construction output slightly increased by 0.1% when compared with the second Quarter of 2019.
Looking at the longer view, the year-on-year calendar adjusted series was up 0.3% (21 calendar working days in September 2019 versus 20 working days in September 2018), while the unadjusted index of production in construction increased by 3.7% when compared with September 2018.
In the first nine months of 2019, construction output grew by 2.8% in the calendar adjusted and was up 2.9% in the unadjusted series.
