In July 2019, estimates for construction output increased by 0.1% in the month on month series, continuing the slow growth of June 2019 (+0.1%).
In the three months to July 2019, construction output contracted by 2.3% when compared with the previous three months.
Looking at the longer view, the year-on-year calendar adjusted series increased by 0.8% (23 calendar working days in July 2019 versus 22 in July 2018), while the unadjusted index of production in construction was up 4.3% when compared with July 2018.
In the first seven months of 2019, construction output grew by 3.2% when compared with the same period of 2018.
