Industrial turnover and orders

In June 2019 the seasonally adjusted turnover index decreased by 0.5% compared to the previous month (-1.2% in domestic market and +0.5% in non-domestic market); the second quarter decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous quarter (+0.6% in domestic market and -1.2% in non-domestic market).

The seasonally adjusted industrial new orders index decreased by 0.9% compared to May (+1.1% in domestic market and -3.8% in non-domestic market); the second quarter decreased by 0.4% compared to the previous quarter (+0.8% in domestic market and -2.1% in non-domestic market).

With respect to the same month of the previous year the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index decreased by 0.8% (-1.0% in domestic market and -0.1% in non-domestic market). Calendar working days in June 2019 were 20, one less than June 2018.

The unadjusted industrial new orders index decreased by 4.8% with respect to the same month of the previous year (-1.8% in domestic market and -9.1% in non-domestic market).

The seasonally adjusted volume turnover index (only for the manufacturing sector) decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous month; the first quarter remained unchanged in comparison to the previous quarter. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index decreased by 0.8% with respect to the same month of the previous year.
