Production in construction

Construction output decreased by 0.1% in the month-on-month series in May 2019, representing the third consecutive decline.

In May 2019 construction output slightly rose by 0.1% in the three-month on three-month series.

Looking at the longer view, the year-on-year calendar adjusted series was up 2.0% (22 calendar working days in May 2019, just like in May 2019).

When compared with May 2018, the unadjusted index of production in construction grew by 2.0%.
