Labour Force Survey – cross-sectional quarterly

In order to improve the availability of historical information on the main characteristics of the labour market, Istat releases historical public use files for the quarterly labour force survey from I quarter 1977 to III quarter 1992.

It is worth highlighting  that the survey was modified over time, in particular in 2004, when several changes were introduced concerning  the technique, the methodology, and the data analysis point of view. For these reasons such files are not consistent with the historical public use files for the period 2008-2013 and with the mIcro.STAT files available since 2014.
