2026 SDGs Report

Istat disseminates the ninth edition of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Report, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly as part of the 2030 Agenda. The 17 goals and their associated targets balance the three dimensions of sustainable development, extending the 2030 Agenda beyond the social pillar to encompass the economic and environmental pillars, as well as the institutional dimension.

The SDGs 2026 Report presents 321 statistical measures (of which 301 are unique, i.e., associated with a single Goal), linked to 148 indicators from the set proposed by the United Nations Inter-agency and Expert Group on SDG Indicators (UN IAEG-SDGs) for global monitoring of progress towards the 2030 Agenda.

The SDGs 2026 Report is available in Italian, with English summaries for each goal.

The English version of the full SDGs 2026 Report will be published shortly.
