Information on the processing of personal data for ESSnet Newsletter subscriptions AIML for OS - (Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679)
The ESSnet (European Statistical System Network) AIML for OS (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Official Statistics) newsletter is sent by e-mail – automatically and free of charge – to those who request to receive it by writing to essnet-aiml4os@istat.it.
The data provided will be used with computer and telematic tools for the exclusive purpose of providing the requested service and, for this reason, will be kept only for the period during which the same will be active.

Purposes of the processing. The data are processed for the performance of a task in the public interest, with particular regard to the dissemination of information about ESS AIML for OS through the sending of the newsletter.
Cancellation from the service. The person concerned may unsubscribe from receiving the newsletter at any time by forwarding the relevant request to the email address essnet-aiml4os@istat.it.
Persons who may become aware of the data or to whom the data may be disclosed. Only Istat’s employees or collaborators, including external collaborators, who provide services instrumental to the purposes indicated above (e.g. technical services) may become aware of the personal data; these subjects will act as Persons authorised to process the data (art. 29 Reg. (EU) 2016/679) or as Data Processors (art. 28 Reg. (EU) 2016/679). Personal data will not be disclosed to other public and/or private entities beyond those mentioned.
Rights of the data subject. The data subject is entitled to the rights set out in Articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and, in particular, the right to access their personal data, to request their rectification, updating or deletion or to object to their processing. To exercise the aforementioned rights, the data subject may contact the Data Protection Officer at the addresses indicated above.
Right to lodge a claim. Data subjects who believe that the processing of personal data relating to them is carried out in violation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Supervisor or to take the matter to court, as provided for in Articles 77 and 79 of the Regulation itself.
