Turnover of industry and services - May 2026

In May 2026, estimates for the seasonally adjusted turnover industrial index increased by 0.6% in value (+0.3% in volume) when compared to the previous month (+0.1% in value and -0.3% in volume in the domestic market and +1.6% in value and +1.5% in volume in the non-domestic one). For services, the seasonally adjusted turnover index increased in the month-on-month series by 0.2% both in value and in volume.

In the three months to May 2026, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover index increased in value (+2.3%) while decreasing in volume (-0.7%) when compared with the previous three-month period. In the same period, the services turnover index grew by 1.6% in value and by 0.2% in volume.

In May 2026 the calendar adjusted industry turnover index was up 5.3% in value and increased by 1.5% in volume (+4.7% in value and +1.0% in volume in the domestic market and +6.6% in value and +2.6% in volume in the non-domestic one). Calendar working days in May 2026 were 20 versus 21 days in May 2025.

In services, the calendar adjusted turnover index increased by 3.9% in value and by 1.0% in volume when compared with the same month a year earlier.
