Turnover of industry and services – February 2025

In February 2025, estimates for the seasonally adjusted turnover industrial index decreased by 0.4% in value (-1.3% in volume) when compared to the previous month (-1.3% in value and -2.2% in volume in the domestic market and +1.2% in value and +0.3% in volume in the non domestic one). For services, the seasonally adjusted turnover index decreased in the month on month series by 1.3% for both value and volume terms.

In the three months to February 2025, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover index rose both in value and volume (+0.8% and +0.5% respectively) when compared to the previous three-month period. In the same period, the services turnover index increased by 0.4% in value while remaining unchanged in volume.

On a year-on-year basis, in February 2025, the calendar adjusted industry turnover index decreased by 1.5% in value (-2.2% in the domestic market and -0.3% in the non-domestic one) and dropped by 2.1% in volume (-3.5% in the domestic market while increasing by 0.4% in the non domestic one). Calendar working days were 20 versus 21 days in February 2024. 

In services, turnover decreased by 1.2% in value and by 2.7% in volume when compared with the same month a year earlier.
