Services producer prices - Q2 2026

In the second quarter of 2026, service producer prices in the business market rose by 1.5% on a quarterly basis and by 4.3% on a year-on-year basis (up from +2.7% in the first quarter of 2026).

Quarterly growth was widespread across almost all economic activities and most marked for Transportation and storage (+3.5%), where increases were recorded across all sectors, except for Air transport (-2.2%). Prices for Transportation and storage rose more sharply also on a year-on-year basis (+7.0%, from +2.2% in the previous quarter).

In the second quarter of 2026, producer prices of Administrative and support service activities increased by 1.6% compared to the previous quarter. This increase affected all sectors, except for Employment activities whose prices remained stable. The quarter-on-quarter price increase was most marked for Office administrative, office support and other business support activities (+4.4%). Year-on-year price growth for Administrative and support service activities (+3.6%) remained basically stable compared to the previous quarter (+3.7%).

Producer prices of Information and communication rose by 0.9% month-on-month, while year-on-year growth remained steady at +2.2%.

Producer prices of Professional, scientific and technical activities rose by 0.7% compared to the previous quarter. This growth extended across all sectors, with the highest increase (+2.8%) for Other professional, scientific and technical activities. On an annual basis, producer prices of Professional, scientific and technical activities increased by 3.5% (up from +2.8% in the first quarter of 2026).

In the second quarter of 2026, services producer prices in the total market (business and consumer) increased by 1.8% compared with the previous quarter and by 4.0% on a year-on-year basis (up from +3.0% in the first quarter of 2026).
