Services producer prices - Q1 2025

In the first quarter 2025, services producer prices in the business market increased by 0.4% compared with the previous quarter and by 4.0% compared to the same quarter of the previous year (from +4.8% in the fourth quarter 2024).

Producer prices of Professional, scientific and technical activities (+0.6%) recorded the highest increase on quarterly basis. On a year-on-year basis, they increased by 4.2% (up from +3.5% in the fourth quarter 2024).

Administrative and support service activities increased by 0.4% compared with the previous quarter and rose by 4.4% on annual basis (+5.1% in the fourth quarter 2024).

In the first quarter 2025, producer prices of Transportation and storage services decreased by 0.3% on quarterly basis: the highest increase was recorded for Freight transport by road (+2.0%), while the highest decrease was recorded for Other transportation support activities (-4.2%). On annual basis producer prices of Transportation and storage increased by 2.1% (down from +5.4% in the previous quarter).

Producer prices of Information and communication decreased by 0.3% on quarterly basis; the decrease was due to the prices of Telecommunications (-3.5%). On annual basis, producer prices of Information and communication increased by 5.3% (+5.5% in the fourth quarter 2024).

In the first quarter 2025, services producer prices in the total market (business and consumer) increased by 0.4%, compared with the previous quarter, and by 3.8% on a year-on-year basis (from +4.5% in the fourth quarter 2024).
