Real estate sales and loans

In the first quarter of 2016, nationwide real estate unit sales agreements totalled 159,932, increasing by 17.9% over the same period for the previous year. 150,015 (93.8%) transfers of properties concerned homes and appurtenances and 9,041 (5.7%) real estate units for business purposes.

In relation to the type of use, sales of residential properties increased by 18.6% whereas sales of properties for business use increased by 8.0%.
