Retail trade - June 2026

In June 2026, seasonally adjusted retail sales decreased by 0.1% both in value and in volume compared with May 2026.

In the 2nd quarter of 2026, retail sales rose by 0.6% in value and by 0.2% in volume compared with the previous quarter.

On a year-on-year basis, retail sales in June 2026 increased by 3.1% in value and rose by 1.9% in volume.

Compared to June 2025, the value of retail sales is increasing across all distribution channels, particularly for online sales (+26.7%), which also shows considerable growth in volume (+28.0%).

As for non-food goods, positive year-on-year changes are recorded for all product groups, with the exception of Shoes, leather goods and travel items (-1.2%). The largest increases were recorded in Electric household appliances, audio-video equipment (+14.2%) and Computers and telecommunications equipment (+12.6%).
