Production in construction
The production index in construction approximates the quarterly evolution of the output of the construction sector. Since the first quarter 2009 the indices are calculated with reference to the base year 2005 using the new Ateco 2007 classification (Italian edition of Nace Rev. 2).
In the third quarter 2010 the seasonally adjusted index increased by 3.2% compared to the previous quarter.
The calendar adjusted production index increased by 1.3% compared to the third quarter of 2009.
The unadjusted index increased by 0.5% compared to the third quarter 2009.
