Production in construction
In October 2012 the seasonally adjusted index increased by 1.9% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter August-October, with respect to the previous quarter, decreased by 1.3%.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 12.1% compared with October 2011 (calendar working days were 23 versus 21 in October 2011); in the period January-October 2012 the index decreased by 13.8% compared with the same period of 2011.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 5.7% compared with October 2011. Comparing the average of the first ten months of 2012 with the same period of 2011 the index decreased by 13.2%.
