Production in construction
In October 2011 the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 2.1% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter August-October, with respect to the previous quarter, increased by 0.6%.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 8.1% compared with October 2010 (calendar working days were 21 as in October 2010); in the period January-October 2011 the index decreased by 3.1% compared with the same period of 2010.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 8.1% compared with October 2010. Comparing the average of the first ten months of 2011 with the same period of 2010 the index decreased by 3.5%.
