Production in the construction sector - May 2026

In May 2026, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction stayed unchanged compared with April.

In the three months to May 2026, construction production rose by 2.0% compared with the previous three months period.

Year on year, the unadjusted index was down 1.6%, while the calendar-adjusted index increased by 2.9% (20 working days vs 21 in May 2025).

In the first five months of 2026, the unadjusted index rose by 2.1% and the calendar adjusted index increased by 2.0%.
