Production in the construction sector - March 2026

In March 2026, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 0.7% compared with February.

In the first quarter of 2026, construction production fell by 2.0% compared with the previous quarter.

Year on year, the unadjusted index was up 4.4%, while the calendar-adjusted index dropped by 0.2% (22 working days versus 21 in March 2025).

In the first three months of 2026, the unadjusted index rose by 0.4% and the calendar adjusted index increased by 0.1%.
