Production in construction
In July 2012 the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 2.2% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter May-July, with respect to the previous quarter, decreased by 1.4%.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 14.2% compared with July 2011 (calendar working days being 22 versus 21 days in July 2011); in the period January-July 2012 the index decreased by 13.9% compared with the same period of 2011.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 11.2% compared with July 2011. Comparing the average of the first seven months of 2012 with the same period of 2011 the index decreased by 13.2%.
