Production in the construction sector - January 2026

In January 2026, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 1.3% compared with December 2025.

In the three months to January 2026, construction production increased by 0.1% compared with the previous three-month period.

Year on year, the unadjusted index recorded a 4.9% decrease, while the calendar-adjusted index fell by 0.6% (calendar working days being 20 versus 21 in January 2025).
