Production in the construction sector - January 2023

In January 2023, estimates for construction output rose in the month-on-month series, increasing by 1.4%.

In the three month to January 2023, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction grew by 3.0% when compared with the previous three-month period.

Year on year, the calendar adjusted index (calendar working days being 21 versus 20 in January 2022) was up 5.9% and the unadjusted index rose by 9.6%.
