Production in the construction sector - February 2022

In February 2022, estimates for construction output increased by 3.9% in the month-on-month series, recording the highest level since December 2011.

In the three months to February 2022, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction increased by 5.8% when compared with the previous three months.

Year on year, both the calendar adjusted index and the unadjusted index rose by 20.9% (20 calendar working days as in February 2021).

In the first two months of 2022, construction output was up 18.8% in the calendar adjusted series and increased by 20.7% in the unadjusted series.
