Production in construction
In December 2013 the seasonally adjusted index increased by 1.3% compared with the previous month. The percentage change for the October-December quarter was 4.4%, with respect to the previous quarter.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector in December 2013 decreased by 8.8% compared with December 2012 (calendar working days were 20 versus 19 in December 2012); the percentage change for 2013 was -10.9 in comparison with the average of the previous year.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 5.5% compared with December 2012. Also in unadjusted terms the average of 2013 was 10.9% lower than in 2012.
