Production in construction
In December 2011 the seasonally adjusted index increased by 1.4% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter October-December, with respect to the previous quarter, decreased by 1.2%.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector was unchanged compared with December 2010 (calendar working days were 20 versus 22 in December 2010); in the average of 2011 the index decreased by 2.9% compared with the same period of 2010.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 6.8% compared with December 2010. Comparing the average of 2011 with the same period of 2010 the index decreased by 3.8%.
