Production in the construction sector - August 2026

In August 2026, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 2.9% when compared with July.

In the three months to August 2026, construction production dropped by 3.2% compared with the previous three months period.

Year on year, the unadjusted index grew by 2.3%, while the calendar-adjusted index was down 2.2% (21 working days versus 20 in August 2025).

In the first eight months of 2026, the unadjusted index rose by 2.3% and the calendar adjusted index increased by 1.2%.
